SEIDAI

Logo design and promotional tool development for SEIDAI, a creative teppanyaki restaurant located in Aoi Ward, Shizuoka City.

Taking into account its hidden, tucked-away location and its signature dish—tomato-based okonomiyaki with pork—a restrained visual system was developed, featuring a subtle accent of tomato red.

The logotype “SEIDAI” was designed as a custom typeface, built on clean, linear forms while evoking the raw, solid character of an iron griddle.

Rather than relying on decorative elements or visual excess, the design emphasizes longevity and clarity.
It was developed with a focus on legibility and reproducibility across various applications required in the restaurant context.

静岡市葵区にある創作鉄板料理店「SEIDAI」のロゴデザイン、ならびに各種販促ツールのデザイン制作。

隠れ家的な立地と、看板メニューである「豚肉のトマトお好み焼き」という個性的な商品構成を踏まえ、トマトの赤をワンポイントとしてあしらった。

ロゴタイプ「SEIDAI」は、直線的で潔さのあるフォルムを基調としながら、鉄板という無骨な素材感を想起させる手作りのオリジナル書体として制作。

見た目の華やかさや過度な装飾ではなく、長く使い続けられる普遍性を重視。

飲食店に求められる視認性と再現性を前提に、各媒体への展開を想定して設計を行った。
