・label design and renewal

Yoshino Shuzo, located in Katsuura City, Chiba Prefecture, is the brewer of Koshikoi, a hand-crafted sake that has been produced since the Edo period.

In the fall of 2009, the brewery learned of the increasing number of plum trees left unmanaged due to the aging of the local farmers, and planned a project aimed at making effective use of the local agricultural products. He decided to produce a plum liqueur using the Daiginjo method.

 

In order to embody the new challenge that a long-established company is taking on, the oval-shaped label was attached diagonally to create a modern and minimalistic impression, and a design that makes people reach for the bottle.

千葉県勝浦市の「吉野酒造」は、江戸時代より続く手仕込みの日本酒「腰古井」の蔵元である。

2009年秋、地元農業者の高齢化により管理出来ずに放置された梅の木の増加問題を知り、地元の農産物の有効活用を狙った事業を計画。大吟醸の手法を用いた梅酒のリキュールの製造に踏み切った。

 

老舗が踏み出す新たなチャレンジを体現すべく、楕円形のラベルを斜めに貼り付けることでモダンさとミニマルな印象、つい瓶に手が伸びるデザインを目指した。
